Agricultural Buildings into Dwellings
In 2015 the Government drastically changed the planning policy with regards to the conversion of agricultural buildings. It is now possible to gain permission to convert an “agricultural building” into a residential dwelling, and although full planning permission is not required, the submission of a prior approval application under the General Permitted Development Order 2015 is required. There are some very exact parameters that must be followed, the key to gaining these approvals is to make sure you have followed them to the letter. We have a highly qualified planning consultant on board that can help with advice on these matters.
