Welton, Redesigned Front Porch

This project is for a redesign of a front porch on a modern property in West Northamptonshire Council.

This is a small, simple project but we undertook to help the client with a general design dilemma of what to do with the front porch. This existing modern property in the village of Welton, near Daventry had been previously extended to the rear with the work undertaken by a building contractor that we work closely with. We were asked by the building contractor to come up with design suggestions to alter the existing porch.

The house had been improved to the rear with a very contemporary design detail, so we picked up on some of the material and designs and opened up the entrance porch making it more contemporary and more inviting.

We presented the clients with a series of colour render images to show possible design suggestions, and they chose the style they wanted to achieve, and the building contractor was able to undertake the work without planning consent being required.
