Swalcliffe, Glazed Garden Room
The existing property featured a single window in the gable end, overlooking the garden. To enhance the space, we designed a glazed gable detail that fully removed the window and the majority of the stonework. This transformation opened the sitting room to allow light to flood into a previously dark space. This modification enabled my clients to be able enjoy the garden indoors on rainy days.
A compact patio area was integrated into the garden and living room, with the patio level set to the same finished floor level as the living room allowing a level access onto the patio. The drainage system was Incorporated to eliminate any surface water.
